One-to-One Coaching
Coaching provides a way of supporting individuals to become more confident, creative, and resourceful in solving their own challenges. It can be hugely beneficial at times of change, helping people manage the psychological transition that inevitably accompanies any change of circumstance. And there’s no bigger change than becoming a parent.
We work with individuals and organisations to create the right level of coaching support depending on the needs of your working parents and offer a range of one-to-one coaching interventions.
Every coaching conversation is different, but here are some of the most common coaching topics:
Finding our footing as a working parent; self-identity and self-belief; reintegrating back into the world of work; managing the overwhelm; finding the balance between work and family life; boundaries and time for self; transitioning to new roles; building resilience and self-confidence.
Organisational benefits
Parental coaching is becoming a more common and vital part of an organisation’s talent retention and ED&I strategy. It contributes towards building family-friendly workplaces that are inclusive, flexible, and supportive, helping mums, dads, and carers to find the right balance between work and family life to optimise productivity and wellbeing.
Benefits:
Retaining (particularly female) talent in your organisation
Creating more equal, inclusive and diverse workplaces
Building a greater sense of belonging and engagement
Supporting the health and wellbeing of your working parent employees
“Upon returning to work after a year off on parental leave to a new job and managing a newly created team, Gill’s coaching provided invaluable support with helping me to deal with the some of the challenges created by this amount of change. I always came away from my sessions with Gill feeling productive and empowered. The biggest impact for me is that Gill has helped me to realise that I have the answers within me and has provided me with tools and techniques to take forward.”
